My group is doing a music commercial. The genre is Alternate rock snyth-pop

The music videos range from 3-5 minutes. We started the research by watching a range of music videos. There are multiple close up and far shots in all music videos. These shots help show the scenery as well as the singers facial expressions. The camera also has serval POVS and pans so we can see the scenery.

CLAMPS

The costumes seems to be cheap and your average clothes. There is nothing that makes these music videos pop out. The lighting defers from scene to scene as some is lit by the sun or perhaps lit by the city lights. The actors lip sing in some scenes and in others it plays over the background. Some props are used such as cars, bikes, food, drinks. There are several different settings. Throughout most of the music videos the main actors/singers are alone.

Sound

The sound will be the music in the video in the background. This kind of music has some mood changes that will change the mood in the video as well

Editing

Alternate rock snyth-pop uses lots of jump cuts to transition between scenes and angles. This genres music videos usually just use moving and alternating shots around the singer. We will also use transitions and jump cuts to incorporate the mood changes in the song.

 Hi my name is Zane Knapp. I am a 10th grade student of Fort Lauderdale high school. I have good grades in school and am working towards my Cambridge diploma through the AICE program. I like to play sports and I'm currently playing football for my school and travel soccer for a club team. In my free time I also enjoy playing video games and hanging with friends. Production Blog: Finally Finished

 Today we have finally finished our final task. For the past 2 months, me and my group have been continuously working on our final task project. We spaced out what we needed to do in order to get it done as quickly and efficiently as possible, and made sure we had enough time to produce a very solid film. Taking time to plan and research before we began filming also helped immensely with creating our film. We spent the first few weeks planning on where our film would take place, what it would be about, and what genre it would be. After landing on a genre and planning out a location to film, we began researching films similar to what we had planned and scoped out what we wanted our film to look like.
