How do your products represent social groups or issues? How do the elements of your production work together to create a sense of ‘branding’? How do your products engage with the audience? How did your research inform your products and the way they use or challenge conventions? My products represent specific social groups and issues by stereotyping a particular group and sticking with common misconceptions or general belie fs about th at group. The group addressed in my products is American teenagers and they are a group often overlooked by the public and often shown unnecessary hate and mistreatment. When seen out in groups in public, people often assume that teenagers are up to no good and tend to frown upon them within our society. In my products, I try and stick with this sort of generalization made for this group, in order to symbolize how the public likes to envision this group on a day-to-day basis.
